56th ANNUAL NATIVE AMERICAN FAIR

The Elders Council has the great fortune to possess the recipes of Zara Ciscoe Brough  (White Flower).  Zara was organizing these recipes into a cookbook during the 1970’s.  We are reviving her work and intend to publish a cookbook which will include her original artwork and commentary.

 We want to expand the cookbook to include more recipes from our native community and they do NOT have to be native recipes. The deadline for submissions is May 1, 2009. If you or someone you know would like to see your favorite recipe(s) included in this cookbook please send them, along with your name and address, to us via email at:  Nipmucnationelderscouncil@nipmucmuseum.org
