Dear Citizens:

As are many others, the Nipmuc Tribal Nation is experiencing difficult financial times.  The tribal council has worked very hard to maintain the Grafton office and try to keep it open to all.  As tribal members, it is our duty to help in any way we can, through the good times and bad.  Along with tribal membership comes a responsibility to participate in any way possible to help keep the office open.

Just a few facts that you might not know:

The Nipmuc Nation has not received any funding since July of 2004.

Our transportation business was closed in June of 2008 after substantial losses.

These facts have caused the tribal council to limit spending to the basic necessities for survival.

Furthermore, it has become necessary for the tribal council to appeal to the Nation for monetary donations.  We realized that money is tight for everyone, which is why we consider our annual “$1.00 a Week” fundraiser to be a reasonable request.  All donations to the Nipmuc Nation are federally tax deductible and our goal is to get a minimum of 100 citizens to participate.
